Wild Bunch Mini Easel Cards and 3″ x 3″ Pizza Box

I had a fun time making today’s project to share with you. I made a 3″ x 3″ pizza box with four mini cards and envelopes with the Wild Bunch stamp set, Product of the Month (June). When I first made a project with a 3″ x 3″ pizza box (way back when), we made them from scratch. If you prefer ready made, Scalloped Window boxes are available in the May-August mini catalogue.

The pizza box is a finished size of 3 3/8″ x 3 3/8″ x 1″ (measurements below) and holds four mini easel cards with matching 3″ x 3″ envelopes. Stampin’ Up! used to sell 3″ x 3″ envelopes and these are ones that I have left over.

I used the Everyday Essentials Designer Series Paper from the May-August Catalogue to decorate the cards and box made with Lost Lagoon card stock.

For the koala and cow cards, I used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Wild Bunch stamp set.

The other two cards with the snail and penguin I stamped the Hi Friend sentiment, also from the Wild Bunch stamp set.

The measurements for the cards are 3″ x 6″, scored at 11/2″ and 3″. The Basic White mat is 2 7/8″ x 2 7/” (cut 2) and the patterned stripe DSP mat is 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″.

Die cut Basic White and Lost Lagoon circles using the Layering Circle dies. The coloured second circle is die cut with the Spotlight on Nature dies. I used a variety Stampin’ Blends listed below to colour in the images. The tiny dots stamp is from the Endless Love stamp set. I wrapped a length of Lost Lagoon ribbon over the Basic White and striped dsp panels and adhered it to the card front. The focal image was then adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Make a mountain fold at the 1 1/2″ score line. Add adhesive to the bottom portion of the focal image and line up the bottom to the edge of the bottom portion of the folded card front to form the easel.

On the inside of the card adhere the other 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″ Basic White panel. Stamp each sentiment with Lost Lagoon classic ink on the co-ordinating coloured card stock used on the front layers (i.e., Lemon Lolly, Crisp Cantaloupe, Fresh Freesia and Barely Blush). Die cut the sentiment with the second largest banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. Adhere Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and position it towards the lower portion of the inside to create the stopper for the easel.

Cut 3 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ pieces of the dsp for the envelope flaps. Adhere to the envelope flap with adhesive and trim off the excess. I assembled the circle dies on the box top with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added some 2026 – 2028 In Colour Dots.

3” x 3” Pizza Box Measurements

• Cut Basic White card stock 5 ¼” x 9 ½”
• On 9 ½” side, score at 1”, 4/14”, 5 ¼” and 8 ½”
• On 5 ¼” side, score at 1” on both sides
• On the 9 ½ side, cut the short score lines up to the long horizontal score line.  This will create 3 tabs on each 9 ½” side
• To create the bottom of the box, mitre 4 of the tabs and add adhesive to the tabs and fold up and secure
• At the other end of the box there are two more tabs, mitre those and add adhesive and secure and this creates the top of the box
• Cut Basic White 7/8” x 3 1/8” (cut 4)
• Cut DSP ¾” x 3” (cut 4)
• Assemble panels and adhere to the sides of box top
