Winter Woods Floating Easel

After the summer break our stamp club reconvened and one of the cards we had discussed making before the break  was a floating easel card.  As I had just received the Winter Woods bundle I thought it would be a great set to use for it.

My photographic skills are not the best as it is very beautiful IRL.

The card base is Tranquil Tide and the inside layer is Mint Macaron.  We stamped the top tree on Whisper White card stock using Tranquil Tide classic ink.

Here is the easel view and you can see we added some Tranquil Tide leaves  and lots of Dazzling Diamonds!

The inside of the card has the Mint Macaron mat.  We used the best scissors for creating the snow capped hills (our fingers!) and more Dazzling Diamonds.  The glimmer tree is so stunning as it has tufts that you can pop up but because it was on the inside of the card, it does get flattened down.  We added two glimmer skinny trees and attached the pine cones with glue dots or dimensionals to create the stopper for the easel.   And, of course, more Dazzling Diamonds on the pine cones.
