Do you ever see a card that you like and instantly think of the stamp set you want to use to make it? Wood Words came to mind when I saw a card on Pinterest (Lisa C) that I wanted to make and here’s the result.
You know that I just love black and white and this was my go to color combo to try this card. The card base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. I cut another piece of Black card stock 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ to cut out the a section to form the diagonal cut.
I first rubbed the Embossing Buddy over the area that I was going to stamp . I next used the floral stamp from Wood Words and stamped with White Craft ink across the opening and then sprinkled some White embossing powder over the stamped images and heat embossed it. The sentiment is stamped with White Craft ink and embossed with White Embossing powder. I positioned the corners onto the front and cut some strips of Powder Pink card stock to provide the pink borders.
I next added the foam strips around the triangle pieces and adhered to the front of the card. I completed the card with a triple bow using the Pink Pirouette seam binding ribbon.
