Jar of Love is a very versatile bundle is retiring as of tomorrow! It is retiring as a bundle (save 10%) but will be returning in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue a la carte. So if this has been on your wish list, you want to get it by tomorrow for the 10% savings!
Today’s card is a sweet clean and simple one using the smallest jar as a vase to hold the flowers.
The card base is Whisper White cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. I used the Oval Layering Framelits to cut out the new Powder Pink layer. I cut out a scalloped oval also from the Oval Layering Framelits and stamped the jar in Smoky Slate and cut it out with the framelit. I stamped the two small flowers in So Saffron and used Daffodil Delight to add the accent pieces. This is a single stamp with the two flowers and the framelit cuts out the two flowers separately – very neat! The larger flower is stamped in Powder Pink and overstamped with the detail stamp using Rich Razzleberry. The leaf stems are stamped with Pear Pizzaz and cut out with the co-ordinating framelits.
I stamped the water in Pool Party and assembled the leaves and flowers over it. The sentiment is also from the set stamped in Smoky Slate and punched out with a retired Oval punch.
ONLY TODAY AND TOMORROW for the current catalogue items – don’t miss out on your favourites and shop my online store HERE.
