When the Holiday Catalogue came out, I wasn’t too keen on this Santa’s Sleigh bundle, but as time goes on and you see some fabulous samples, it became a must have! This is my first card using the bundle and I also had some Copper Foil and Copper Embossing Powder that hadn’t been used so it was a good opportunity to put them all together.
What do you think? I love how the Copper Foil and Embossing Powder! My base card is Soft Suede cut 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. The piece of Copper Foil is cut 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and the Very Vanilla piece is 5 1/4″ x 4″.
I used the tree thinlit from the co-ordinating Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits die and cut it out from the centre of the 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece before layering the Very Vanilla piece over it. It saves on the Copper Foil as no one sees the layered foil piece. Great way to save on paper!
The Very Vanilla layer is rolled through the Big Shot using the Soft Falling Embossing Folder – it has been the most used embossing folder for my Christmas cards! I next stamped the two trees with Versamark on the Very Vanilla and embossed with the Copper Embossing Powder – so beautiful! The Copper Foil tree is popped up using dimensionals and I cut the tiny stars using the star thinlit from the same thinlit set and adhered with dimensionals.
I finished the card by stamping the sentiment from the set with Versamark and embossing with the Copper Embossing Powder.
This bundle is available for $59.25 with the stamp set in photopolymer (see page 24 of the Holiday Catalogue).
