Under My Umbrella with So Very Vellum Specialty DSP

I used the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper from the 2nd Release of Sale-A-Bration for today’s card with Under My Umbrella stamp set.

The Vellum is so gorgeous! There are 6 sheets in the package, 2 each of Pool Party, Purple Posy and Soft Sea Foam. It can be yours with a $60 order (taxes and shipping excluded) – just select this specialty DSP as your free SAB item.

I started with a Purple Posy card base then added a layer of the Purple Posy vellum. I cut a piece of Purple Posy card stock using the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Next I stamped the rain drops with Purple Posy ink and the sentiment with Highland Heather ink.

I used another great DSP, Perennial Essence, to stamp the umbrella and books. The umbrella and boots are stamped with Highland Heather ink. The umbrella and handle are punched out with the umbrella builder punch and I fussy cut the boots. These elements are popped up with Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals.

Cutting Guide:

Purple Posy: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″; scrap to cut out largest Stitched So Sweetly scallop rectangle die
So Very Vellum: 4 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
