I used the Layered Forals 3D embossing folder for today’s card in black, white and shades of yellow and green. I saw a card using this technique on the internet.

I started with a Basic Black card base and a mat of Lemon Lolly. I cut a panel of Basic White 3 3/4″ x 5″. I then used some retired card stock cut the same size to create the frame for adding the ink. I next placed the 4th largest die from Textured Notes in the centre of this panel and die cut it out.
I secured the Basic White panel on my work sheet with some Post-It note tape then added the die cut frame over it and secured the frame with the Post-It note tape.
I used a combination of Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist classic ink to apply on to the opening in the frame with the Small Blending Brushes. I applied the Lemon Lolly ink at the top portion of the opening of the frame, added Daffodil Delight ink in the centre and Lemon Lime Twist at the bottom. After working with the blending of the ink, remove the frame. Insert this panel in the Layered Florals 3D embossing folder and run it through the die cutting machine.
I added butterfly die cuts from the Beautiful Butterfly dies, one die cut with Lemon Lime Twist card stock and the other using the Floral and Gingham Vellum. The centre of the butterfly was die cut from retired Gold foil sheets. I added a few of the Basic Rhinestones on the centre.
The sentiment is from the Translucent Florals stamp set which is stamped on a piece of Basic Black in Versamark ink. I sprinkled White embossing powder over the stamped sentiment and heat set the embossing powder with the Heat Tool. I used a retired 1 1/4″ scallop punch to punch it out. It is adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a couple of Basic Rhinestones to the sentiment to complete the card.
