At a stamping event back in 2017, my friend Janet M. demonstrated a braid card that impressed everyone. It’s been a “few” years since then and it seemed like a good time to introduce it to some of my new stampers. At the time of preparing the card for the class, I didn’t have Janet’s card in front of me and when I checked the photo of her card, it’s amazing how we both chose a shade of green for our card base.
For my card I used Pretty Peacock for the card base and paired it with Lost Lagoon and Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper. I also used the small die from the Perennial Postage set for the sentiment and added one of the butterflies from the Paper Butterfly Accent. I added Highland Heather classic ink and Gorgeous Grape classic ink by blending it on using a Small Blending brush. Tiny Purple Fine Shimmer Gems and a neutral colored Baker’s bow completed the card. Here is our class card.
